Heather! Nice to see you here!
You know, your image made me realize I've been drawing toasters wrong my whole life. When I looked at yours I thought you were missing a push down handle on the other side. Then I realized toasters really only have one push down switch thing. I've been drawing it wrong for years... I must always envision "brave little toaster" whenever I draw a toaster because he had two arm lever thingamajigs.
Cool. Feels very 50's.
Welcome, Heather! Nice image. At first glance, it looks like someone has tricked out this toaster with those under-mounted neons you see on souped-up Civic Rs and other import tuners.
MTV should look into the possibility of a Pimp My Kitchen Appliance series, maybe hosted by Lil' Jon or some other marginally talented "musician."
I never would have thought of a multicolored shadow here, but I think it's nice to have a splash of color worked into what is a predominantly gray object.
