Weekly: Grotesquely Manly Wonder Woman - Dave Pryor

In my take on the subject, Wonder Woman happens along a vile of some kind of "Man Juice". Well, as you can see, there is a chemical reaction with her feminine super-powers and things go terribly wrong.

Dear sweet jebus popcicle on a stick.... Awesome. hahahaha. She reminds me of Ursula from the Little Mermaid. Only worse.... if that's possible.

That is just gross. And great. Well done.

"man juice" dave? That's not a great way to phrase it. :P

Heh heh - yeah Sean. I almost put that text on the bottle - but I thought otherwise. I know that sense of humor isn't for everyone. :)

Alex, in the end I thought she turned out a lot like Ursula too. Even the hair is kind of underwater looking.

wow. Really neat pop art approach.

Yeah - the pop art is great and she's so appealing in the first frame. Great contrast by the last frame. Whatta monster that NO ONE could love.

Did you think of making the liquid anyother color other than red or was it more important to stay within the primary colors for you?

Thanks Bob. Red White and Blue was the palette I wanted to keep with (Gold snuck in too), but I made the liquid red because it means "danger" and also looks like a tasty beverage at the same time. It does hinder some readability by the last frame, but by that time it's too late anyway - the effects have taken hold and the monster is the main focus. You may notice that I shifted it to more of a pink to work a bit better in that setup.
